At Weathertop Mountain Inn, our restaurant is open seasonally for evening dining. We serve an eclectic selection of reasonably-priced entrées, many of which are personal favorites discovered during our world travels. While some of our most popular entrées are on the menu year round, we also offer frequently changing specials which depend upon the season and the availability of choice ingredients.

The following is a sample menu highlighting some of our favorite dishes. All of these offerings may not be available during your visit, but we always guarantee a varied and interesting selection! While at the inn, be sure to check our daily menu board, or ask your innkeepers, for the day's selections and specials. Got a personal favorite from a prior visit? We will be happy to prepare it if the ingredients are available. For those with "simpler tastes", many of our meat and fish offerings can be plainly grilled or baked - just ask.

     Hardwood-smoked fillet served with a creamy Horseradish Sauce & Capers.
 
 
  Southwest Scallops $ 7
     "Rustic Rub"-encrusted New Bedfords, pan seared, then served with a spicy
     Black Bean Dip and Sour Cream.
 
 
  Thai Roasted Pumpkin Soup $ 6
     The addition of Kaffir Lime Leaves, Galangal & Coconut Milk gives this
     New England classic a Southeast Asian flair!
 
 
  Sautéed Mushrooms $ 5
     Crimini Mushrooms sautéed with Garlic & Capers, then served on a bed of
     greens with a dash of Balsamic Vinegar & fresh Parmigiano Reggiano.
 
Entrées
(served with our house salad, hot & crusty bread, vegetable & starch du jour)
  Venison Medallions (8 oz.) $ 22
     Encrusted with Juniper & Black Pepper, pan seared then oven roasted;
     served with a spiced Cranberry-Currant Chutney.
 
 
  Bison Sirloin (12 oz.) $ 20
     Twin medallions lightly dressed with Dijon Mustard & fresh Rosemary,
     then oven-roasted and topped with a tangy Gorgonzola Butter.
 
 
  Grilled Steak (12 oz.) $ 19
     Hand-carved, boneless NY Strip (USDA Choice) grilled to perfection.
 
 
  Sugar Shack Pork (12 oz.) $ 18
     French-cut rib chop grilled with a Maple-Mustard Glaze, then drizzled
     with a creamy Maple-Mustard Sauce.
 
 
  Thai Duck Breast (8 oz.) $ 19
     Tender, roasted breast of White Pekin Duck, served on a bed of greens
     with Pickled Ginger and a traditional Thai Chili-Peppercorn Dipping Sauce.
 
 
  Stuffed Chicken Breast (8 oz.) $ 17
     Oven-roasted breast stuffed with Shelburne Farm Apples, Cabot Extra
     Sharp Cheddar Cheese and a hint of fresh Sage.
 
 
  Arctic Char Numazu (8 oz.) $ 18
     Fresh, Icelandic fillet encrusted with Sesame Seeds, oven-baked,
     then drizzled with a creamy Wasabi-Ginger Sauce & Dark Soy Paste.
 
 
  Blackened Barramundi (8 oz.) $ 18
     Fresh, sustainably farm-raised fillets coated in our special spice rub,
     skillet seared, then topped with a Mango-Red Onion Chutney.
 
 
  Black Pepper Shrimp (8 oz.) $ 17
     A Singapore classic, done with shrimp instead of Sri Lankan Crabs, which
     we can't get here....stir-fried in a Tellicherry Pepper-Ginger Butter Sauce.
 
 
  Cantonese Sea Scallops (8 oz.) $ 18
     Quickly seared New Bedfords, drizzled with Tamari & Dry Oloroso Sherry,
     gently steamed, then topped with shaved Spring Onions & fresh Ginger.
 
Desserts
  Belgian Bliss $ 5
     Dark Belgian Chocolate truffle on a Coconut-Almond crust, drizzled with a
     Red Raspberry purée.
 
 
  Chocolate Oblivion $ 5
     A flourless Dark Belgian Chocolate torte with a hint of Grand Marnier
     and a Dark Belgian Chocolate ganache. Did we mention CHOCOLATE???
 
 
  Carrot Cake $ 5
     A grand version of an old standard, topped with a rich layer of
     Cream Cheese frosting for good measure!
 
 
  Pumpkin Cheesecake $ 5
     A light & creamy Cheesecake in a Graham Cracker-Almond crust; the use
     of fresh Pumpkin adds a delicate flavor.
 
 
  Tel Kadayif $ 5
     A Turkish version of Baklava that uses a Simple Syrup with Lemon rather
     than Honey; not as sweet as the Greek version, but sweet enough....
 
 
  Homemade Ice Cream Du Jour $ 5
     Always rich & creamy....whatever flavor strikes us....
