We are animal lovers and have two furry assistants, Harley & Violet, to prove it. They are eager to make new friends, defined as anyone willing to give them attention (or shrimp, or scallops, or chicken...you get the idea...). While they have free run of the inn, they are never allowed into the guest rooms (unless you encourage them...), nor are they allowed in the commercial kitchen. Most of the time, you will probably find them napping (they are cats after all...) or in the great outdoors, studying the birds, chipmunks, and squirrels. Their other favorite spot is near the Great Room fireplace on a chilly winter's night.

Harley has been with us since our days in Singapore, where we adopted him at a young age from the SPCA. He has never completely adjusted to our Vermont winters, though a warm fireplace is a far better option than the alternative he was facing in Singapore! He has adapted quite nicely to the life of an innkeeper, and normally provides a warm welcome to all inn guests whenever he is not sleeping.

Violet is the latest addition to the Weathertop family. She is a native Vermonter, recently adopted from the Addison County Humane Society. She is still a bit shy, but coming around to the innkeeper lifestyle. She is about 7 years younger than Harley, and full of energy, so he is getting plenty of exercise!
