The rates for the packages & specials listed below are in effect from September 17, 2010 - October 16, 2010, unless otherwise noted like our Late Season Special, which applies until our Winter Rates take effect. We will update the rates on this page for subsequent foliage seasons as the time approaches. Late Season Special

For those that don't fancy Vermont's winter climate or winter sports, there is always golf season in the Mad River Valley...

The Sugarbush Golf Club is one of the finest mountain courses in all of New England. Combine a round of golf (or two...) with a stay at Weathertop Mountain Inn for a warm-weather getaway that can't be beat.

The rates on the following table apply for the 2010 season. Shoulder Season is from course opening through 20-June and from 07-September until course closing. Peak Season is from 21-June through 06-September.

For the "frugal gourmet", consider adding a Weathertop Dining Package. Outstanding cuisine at an outstanding price. It simply doesn't get any better than this!

Need some time to unwind? Want to get away from it all, if just for a few days? Let us help, in any season! While you will have to decide how best to relax and have fun, we can take care of everything else.

Start off with a welcome bottle of sparkling wine on Friday evening. Follow this up with a full breakfast on Saturday morning. Go out and play for the day, then return to a 4-course dinner with a select bottle of wine. To ensure you don't leave hungry, we also provide a full breakfast on Sunday morning.

Can't get away for the weekend because your off days are midweek? Not to fear! We offer this special anytime, and our midweek rate is even lower!

Have a soak in the hot tub, enjoy a glass of wine from our extensive menu, then join us for a casual, culinary feast. Our menu ranges from hearty to eclectic, and is very reasonably priced. If you crave something from Southeast Asia, we're the only place to be in The Valley with our Asian Dining Adventure. Hand-carved steaks and chops are also a specialty! Dine with us once, or every evening. The choice is yours...

If you have a passion for the diverse cuisines of Asia, or wish to try one you have never experienced before, our Asian Dining Adventure is not to be missed! You pick the country, you pick the primary ingredients for your main course, and we take care of the rest...

For $60 per couple, you get a soup, a salad and a combination of dishes for your main course - selected by us - for your country of choice. Follow this up with a fabulous dessert from our nightly menu. Visit Asia for an evening - no passport required!

You have only four things to do:

• Choose a country (click on a country to see a typical menu): Cambodia & Laos, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand or Vietnam (or give us license to mix & match countries...)
• Choose two primary ingredients for your main course: Beef, Chicken, Duck, Lamb, Pork, Fish, Shrimp or Tofu (Vegetarian is also possible)
• Advise us of any dislikes or allergies
• Enjoy your trip!

Additional information:

• Rates do not include a 9% Vermont Rooms and Meals Tax.
• Beverages may be purchased at an additional charge.
• A two day advance notice is normally required to experience our Asian Dining Adventure. We need additional time for preparation and ingredient procurement, but it's definitely worth it!

Late autumn in the Mad River Valley can be wonderful. While the bright reds & oranges of peak foliage season have faded into memory, the remaining golds & browns are still lovely against a backdrop of dark evergreens & white birches. Daytime temperatures can be quite comfortable, with the evenings turning brisk. Morning frost is a prelude to the upcoming winter season, and an early dusting of snow may get you to thinking about ski tuning!

Even better, the crowds of peak foliage season have disappeared, making The Mad River Valley feel like your own private refuge. Hiking or biking in The Valley can be a serene experience at this time. Relax and enjoy the rhythm of the changing seasons....

From October 17, 2010 until our Winter Rates take effect, celebrate late autumn with a stay at Weathertop Mountain Inn. Stay any night midweek for $115 per room per night, double occupancy. For weekend evenings, the rate is only $125 per room per night , double occupancy.

Our slopeside condo at Sugarbush Resort is also available at a late season, discounted rate during this time. Stay any night of the week for $119 per night, double occupancy.
